Flosser Schaenke in Baiersbronn

The food was excellent! We had the steak from the hot stone and a salad (which in this case always comes with it). The salad alone was really delicious. The meat was very tender and the sauces were just right. The only disturbing thing about that evening was the fact that a large group with many children were also there. The combination of children's noise, music and conversations was a bit loud, so we went straight after dinner, although this very lovingly furnished restaurant invites you to linger. (The restaurant can't do anything for the volume, so it's all 5 stars). As soon as we're back in Baiersbronn, a visit to the tavern is a must.

Very cozy. Corona rules are observed. Very friendly staff. Food was delicious. We come back regularly and look forward to it.

Unfriendly landlady. One has the impression that she has no desire for customers. She kept saying she had to teach us and made us wait. The food doesn't taste like that

It was very tasty, inside it is more comfortable than it looks from the outside and at the table in the bay you sit over the Murg and can look down to the river. Menu with a good selection, prices okay and a friendly team.

Great restaurant with a stylish ambience and really chic! The food is very tasty and plentiful. Only there are hardly any desserts, more could be offered here. The service is hard-working and friendly and you feel very comfortable. Toilet facilities are perfectly clean. We can highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back.

Been here again after a long time. The Flößer-Schänke is still an institution in Baiersbronn. The food and drinks are very good, the service friendly and fast, the price-performance ratio is fair and all of this in a very cozy atmosphere. But: You have not always arrived here in the 21st century! Card payment? Nothing! Has that always been the case and will it remain so? In times of Covid-19 and with the masses of tourists in Baiersbronn, also from abroad, an absolute absurdity! Hence a star deduction.

Needs more than two waitresses at dinner time

Fine food for little money, service also spoke English. We found out when paying that only cash was possible, luckily there was a bank 600m away

Simply totally unfriendly service you will receive unfriendly what is not possible! Should just leave the store when they no longer need it.

That was by far the worst restaurant experience I've had so far. No starter after an hour. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. to have a bite to eat. Since there was nothing left inside, we sat outside despite the cool temperatures, we don't want to stay long either. Then it was a whopping 10 minutes until we got a menu and ordered drinks. After another 10 minutes the drinks came and we ordered. Two soups and a salad and one dumpling. Then nothing happened for 40 minutes. The drinks were already empty, and it was now well cold and it was almost dark. The waitress looked over briefly 2-3 times, but we had to call them to the table to ask why a soup that is prepared in the kitchen takes 40 minutes. We also pointed out to them that we would like to have the next free table inside because we did not expect such a long wait. 15 minutes later you can finally have the soup. A real excuse and trying to help (blankets, indoor space, etc.) Not a trace. Even though guests have left the restaurant. Another 20 minutes later came the salad and the Maultaschen. In total, instead of the calculated 40 minutes, we were there for a full two hours for a soup and a salad and frozen limbs. -> if there is a lot going on, say so in advance, then we would have left again immediately. (It didn't look super crowded though) -> the unfriendly way you deal with customers who pay your wages is not possible at all. -> You should urgently teach your team how to deal with complaints. The error happened is normal, but you did not deal with it (sorry, find a solution, and do a little more than the customer expected). -> If you don't feel like having customers, then look for another job. -> The food was actually not bad at all, but the child had drowned in the well for a long time when the food came.

Food was very tasty, staff sometimes not so friendly. Except for the nice young lady at the counter, very quick and courteous! Recommendable!

Boss must have had a bad day. Because we wanted to sit inside and not outside, we were huddled together because she kept the outside table free for us for a "long time" and could have given it away for a long time. We weren't asked where we wanted to sit when we made the reservation. Assuming good weather = sitting outside! About to leave. She was also harsh and dismissive towards other guests. Now to the food: portions are really sufficient, the quality is good and tasty. Very friendly staff. A bit of a long wait but the shop was also full. All in all, the Flößer Schänke is recommended. Glad we stayed. Maybe the boss will be in a better mood next time.

Nice restaurant, very cozy inside, with a terrace on the river. Very friendly service. Food tastes good, large portions, but only 4 stars here.

There is nothing wrong with the food, portions and prices are okay, but the landlady !! I have hardly seen such an unfriendly person towards the guest. Especially now in these times, every innkeeper is happy when the "shop" is running, but in the Floesser-Schaenke one has the impression that the guest is not welcome.

Actually quite nice, we were lucky to be able to sit outside. Food tasted good, bread didn't seem to be fresh every day. Only negative: a waitress was in a bad mood and you only got short answers, seemed very disinterested.

We wanted to have a table for two people on 08/04/2020. Despite the tables were free, my wife was sent away unfriendly. The next day we called several times but the answering machine always went on. Although I left a message requesting a callback, this has been ignored. We were there again on the same day and wanted to reserve for two people. This was rejected with the words of the management "No table is reserved for two people. If we want to eat something, we have to share a table with others". And that in the time of Corona. How would Rocker say from the stool: "I could cry, cry" ......

Enjoy your meal. The hot stone was very good. However, only cash payment is possible. Nice service and nicely decorated outside.

Delicious food, nice terrace. Prices are ok we had reserved what turned out to be good. In the evening there was quite a rush, also during the week.

Unfortunately not recommended. The waitress is apparently not always in a good mood and on bad days (which is almost always) you are served unfriendly or not at all. Unfortunately, the quality is also not really good for the service.

Good food, good service. They don’t take card as far as I am aware. There is an ATM just a few minutes walk from the place. Perhaps a good tip is to book a table if you want to eat dinner on weekends.

Skip it. For all of the interesting dining options in Baiersbronn don’t waste your time or money here. The food is mediocre, the service was slow and brusque, and it’s surprisingly overpriced.

NOT A PLACE FOR A TOURIST. Avoid going there if you don't speak the language. Menu states one price they charge another.

This is my go to place in Germany. I discovered this awesome place while stationed here and always come back when I visit. It never disappoints, the steak auf the heisse stein and the schwarz pils cannot be beat.
